Last week’s photo challenge of the Daily Post had the topic ‘silence’. This is a very versatile and interpretative topic as it can have different meanings. It could stand for a lack of communication or a fight that ended in people are not talking to each other anymore. Or it could be an escape from the noisy city into the calm and relaxing nature. Silence can be very frightening, especially during the night when someone is walking alone through the streets. Furthermore, silence can have a sound as well (I think) when there is nothing but the sound of the wind and the sea. Everyone needs some calming alone-time, escaping from their busy and noisy lives. Visiting these ‘silent’ places is always a special time 😉
