Jurassic Coast – weekly pictures

This week’s weekly pictures are less contributing to a certain topic but rather about a specific place I recently went to – the Jurassic Coast. The Jurassic Coast reaches from Exmouth (East Devon) to Studland Bay (Dorset) which is a distance of about 154km. Since end of 2001, the coast, located at the English ChannelContinue reading “Jurassic Coast – weekly pictures”

Unlikely – photo challenge

The latest photo challenge of the Daily Post had the topic ‘unlikely’. Quite a broad and versatile topic. It is about something that happened even though it was not expected to happen. This made me think of a trip to Mount Snowdon which was wrapped in clouds when I arrived and didn’t seam to revealContinue reading “Unlikely – photo challenge”

Prolific – photo challenge

Last week’s photo challenge of the Daily Post was about something ‘prolific‘ – for me it is about something successful. The first things that came onto my mind were ‘U2’ and ‘Dublin’. Experimental – photo challenge

This week’s photo challenge of the Daily Post is about being or trying something ‘experimental’. As many of you already might know – I love musicContinue reading “Experimental – photo challenge”

Land’s End

Visiting the southern coast of England, I also went to ‘Land’s End‘, a headland and lovely holiday area in Cornwall, which is part of the Penwith peninsula and seen as the most westerly point of England. The edge is marked by the ‘First and Last House’ which is now a small gift shop.    Continue reading “Land’s End”

Bridge – photo challenge

This week’s photo challenge of the Daily Post has the topic ‘bridge’. The first bridges that came into my mind actually were the London Bridge and the Millennium Bridge. However, I thought it would be better to mention a bridge that is not as obvious but very special as well… So the next thing thatContinue reading “Bridge – photo challenge”

Evanescent – photo challenge

This week’s photo challenge of The Daily Post – a little bit late but till not too late – is ‘evanescent’, or more precisely about something that lasts only for a short period before it disappears and is forgotten. The ‘short period’ should be seen in relation to all components. Compared to the period ofContinue reading “Evanescent – photo challenge”
